About

Premier Energy USA has been selling and installing ThermaRay products for over 23 years now and ThermaRay has been manufacturing heating systems for over 40 years. In most cases, the end user or local electricians install the heating systems but sometimes we do help coordinate that as well. Either way though, we provide an ample amount of information and drawings to make the install as easy as possible. Below and attached is a description of all our heating systems. Probably more than you ever wanted, but we like to be thorough. ThermaRay products also qualify for 15 LEED points. LEED Points – ThermaRay All our heating systems can be used in conjunction solar and wind power generation. We also have the latest technology available for controls. Including –

Our complete line of Radiant Heating Products include:

  1. Thermal Mass Floor Heating System (Under Concrete) – Our Floor Heating System under concrete is the only true Deep Heating Thermal Mass System. The larger the Thermal Mass, the lower the operating costs. Tubing systems with 2” Styrofoam under the tubes drastically increase the operating cost because they limit the thermal mass (See Attached Comparison).  The tubing guys will tell you that if you don’t put insulation under the tubes, you will lose all that generated heat to the earth. However, the fact is it’s a matter of physics. Heat can only transfer to colder temperatures. It can’t migrate when the temperature is equal or higher than the generated temperature. The Floor Heat Panels warm up and as heat goes away from the panel, the temperature gets lower and lower until it reaches a temperature equal to itself which is the temperature of the earth (around 54 degrees) and then it can’t travel any further and the thermostat is satisfied. Our system creates a 2’ – 2-1/2’ deep thermal mass that will release into the area above it when it is cooler than the thermal mass. Bottom Line – If you take a large rock and a small rock out of a fire, the larger rock will hold the heat longer. 1. Limited Mass Heating System for Snow / Ice Melting (Under concrete, Pavers or Asphalt) – Many different controlling options for snow and ice prevention and dissipation on sidewalks, ramps, steps, driveways, etc.

Benefits

  1. Considerably less space required in mechanical room vs. hydronic (Tubing) systems.
  2. Qualifies for the Off-Peak programs
  3. Typically, half the cost to install vs. hydronic systems, but depends on the area.
  4. 35% – 70% less cost to operate vs. hydronic or forced air. Depends on the power source, but even lower operating cost than those using natural gas as a source.
  5. Save up to thousands on Styrofoam insulation (Materials only, not including labor). Not required for our thermal mass system, but typically associated with hydronic systems.
  6. Simple Installation – Approximately 3-5 Hours for installation on a typical residential install
  7. Healthiest Environment
  8. No Maintenance
  9. No eventual repair or replacement of parts that are associated with hydronic systems.
  10. Lowest overall lifetime cost vs. “Any” other heating system.
  11. Quiet
  12. No moving parts
  13. Unlimited control options. From simple to remote access point for entire home and up to Wi-Fi accessible from your phone or computer.
  14. Not only an Invisible heating system , but we have options so that you don’t see thermostats in any room. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing.
  15. Can be used in conjunction with solar & wind power generation.
  16. Qualifies for up to 15 LEED Points.
  17. 45+ Year stellar track record with no failed systems

Radiant Ceiling System (Above Ceiling) – Due to the fact that most of us were raised in a forced air or convection environment, the Radiant Ceiling Heating truly is my favorite way to heat because it blows people’s minds Most people say “Why would you put heat in the ceiling if hot air rises”. It’s true that hot air rises, but radiant heat like the sun travels in straight lines until it reaches something that could absorb that heat like the floor, walls, furniture, etc. and most importantly people. A good example is stepping from the shade to the sun on a cool day or taking a rock and putting it in direct sunlight. The rock will absorb the radiant rays and in turn warm the air and other objects or people. The radiant ceiling heaters will also warm the floor and create a thermal mass when the floor and all the other objects in the room absorb those radiant rays. The ceiling system is a simple installation that doesn’t impact your construction process very much at all. It can be installed above Steel, Sheetrock, OSB, Wood, etc. Watch installation videos and testimonials on our product videos page Electric Radiant Heating Videos (premierenergyusa.com) and download the Radiant Ceiling Flyer USA – Radiant Ceiling
