Do It Yourself (DIY) ThermaRay Radiant Ceiling
Dan and Mary Ellen wanted to do as much as they could in their new home. They had Radiant Ceiling heat in the previous home for 35 years and wanted the same for their new home in Wisconsin near the shores of Lake Michigan. The ThermaRay Radiant Ceiling Heating System was the perfect solution, giving them the comfort, quiet, efficiency and the healthy environment in which they were accustomed to living.
Due Diligence
Dan and Mary Ellen contacted Premier Energy USA in the Summer of 2021. It was apparent from the start that they were very hands on and wanted to install the system themselves and together. They met with Premier Energy USA personally to touch and feel the product and understand the process to installing the heating system. Dan and Mary Ellen were also provided with an extensive list of referrals, case studies and additional information to review.
The Process
After the meeting, Dan and Mary Ellen decided the ThermaRay radiant ceiling system was exactly what they wanted to install in their new home. They provided premier energy with a set of plans and Premier Energy provided them with a proposal, layout drawing, circuit and heating panel schedule specifically designed for their entire home. Proceeding as Planned
Dan & Mary Ellen placed the order for a radiant ceiling system for their entire home in the spring of 2022. The order was delivered to their home by a trucking company and with the help of a lift gate and a pallet jack from the trucking company their order was placed safe and sound in their existing garage. The shipment arrived on a Thursday and the next day Dan and Mary Ellen started the process of installing the heating panels.

Dan & Mary Ellen needed (80) heating panels for both levels of the new home. On Friday and over the weekend placed the heating system for the entire home. The layout provided by premier Energy USA made the process very simple.
Completing the installation
In most States, homeowners are allowed to do the electrical work in their own home. Dan & Mary Ellen decided to contract an electrician to wire the home & garage as well as the ThermaRay Radiant Ceiling Heating System. The electricians wired, finished and tested all the heating panels in one day.
